🌴 Welcome to the beach, a few honest notes: 🛖 This is a simple Thai beach house, not a modern apartment. Rustic walls, a small bathroom, a small kitchen in its own room, no TV. What you get instead: the sea 10 metres from your door and the sunset every evening. 🌅 Hin Kong is the island's sunset coast. The water is shallow and calm, lovely for a swim at high tide. At low tide it goes far out, perfect for a long walk on the sand. 👃 It smells like the sea here: salt, seaweed, and at low tide a bit stronger now and then. That's the beach, not the house. 🍹 A beach bar and a massage place sit right at the passage to the beach. Guests staying 7 nights or more get one standard massage for free, just tell us when. 🦎 Small geckos indoors are harmless, friendly bug-eaters and our best mosquito control. 💧 Brief public water cut-offs can happen on the island. If anything runs dry, message us. ⚡ Short island-wide power outages are normal, usually back within minutes. Not the house, just the grid. 🦟 Mosquitoes are active at dawn & dusk, more so by the sea. Use local spray (e.g. "Soffell" from any 7-Eleven) and keep the door closed in the evening. 🍽️ Never leave open food, crumbs or sweet drinks out. Store everything in the fridge or airtight containers, ants on the beach are fast. 🐍 Monitor lizards & snakes are shy and avoid people.
